The WORLD Pallet

For more than two years now the WORLD Pallet has developed, in line with the well preserved construction principle of the euro-pallet, to a global means of transportation and has since then established itself in the market as a real alternative to the conventional euro-pallet. It can be employed or used by industrial concerns and commercial enterprises in warehouse and transportation logistics. The World Pallet is subjected to the worldwide normalised standards of the euro-pallet and can therefore be employed worldwide (in connection with ISPM 15 Standard) – an intelligent and above all a cost-efficient form of the multiplex usage of the pallet, especially for resale.

The WORLD Pallet is a pool pallet in the euro-pallet format and is being produced in a fully automated manufacturing process on innovated plants and equipments.

The Falkenhahn AG

Falkenhahn AG is a medium sized company in Thuringia headquartered in Geisa, in the quarter of Bremen.

As early as 1933, Josef Falkenhahn founded a cabinetmaker’s workshop which existed until 1992.

After the takeover by Edmund and Anita Falkenhahn, the newly founded E. & A. Falkenhahn OHG began production of Euro pallets in June of 1992.

The changeover from the Euro Pallet to the WORLD Pallet took place at the beginning of 2008. This step was absolutely essential as a result of globalisation and the rapidly growing external trade.

Logistic-concept

Falkenhahn AG has developed a new logistic concept, whereby the costs in pallet handling can be reduced considerably for all the participants – consignors, forwarding agents and consignees – by changing over from the exchange of pallets to resale, an intelligent multiplex usage of the pallets.
