Furthermore, we can also offer you WORLD-Pallets according to the IPPC-Standard, ISPM15. In this process, all parasites and insects, in particular the Sirex fly, which can be found in the wood, are killed. We have been authorised to treat the pallets by the Thuringian State Institute for Agriculture under the registration number DE-TH1-490409.
In the scope of the IPPC (International Plant Protection Convention), a sub-organisation of the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organisation of the UN),
phytosanitary regulations for the international trade with packaging made of full wood have been enacted. This includes a heat treatment at a core temperature of 56°C for at least 30 minutes. The wooden packaging is to be marked on two opposite sides with a recognised sign which contains a logo that is determined and protected by the FAO (see logo on the pallet).
